Advancing Women in Energy officially launched in October 2016 to recruit, promote and develop women in energy, energy-related fields, and those interested in energy through education, networking and mentoring. Our goal is to increase the number of women in all facets of the energy industry, particularly in leadership roles, to benefit the industry and society.

Congratulations to AWE Board Member, Liesl Clark, and AWE members Rachel Eubanks and Jennifer Flood on their appointments to Governor Whitmer's administration!

Clark is serving as the new Director of the Department of Environmental Quality, Eubanks is serving as the State Treasurer, and Flood is serving as Director of Public Affairs for the Governor.

AWE is proud of these amazing women and

excited to continue to learn from them!

Join us in our effort to grow and develop women in energy.
