On October 17, 2016 AWE held an opening launch event at the Urban Beat Event Center in Lansing, MI. More than 100 professional women involved in the energy sector attended the event and we were joined by special guest, Patti Poppe, the CEO of Consumers Energy. The excitement, networking opportunities, and inspiration in the room was the perfect opener for Advancing Women in Energy.
